This is a creative collaborative collection of poetry focusing on three seasonal themes. First is Autumn, Secondly is seasonal holidays such as Dia de los muertos, Halloween, Samhain, Thanksgiving, Winter Solstice, Yule and Christmas. Last is transitioning the changing of Seasons from Summer into Autumn, or Autumn into Winter. There is an underlying connection to the natural world and our place as Poets in it. Many thanks and appreciation for the e-ARC for the purpose of this review.The theme of the seasons Fall turning to Winter is celebrated and observed in some the telling titles: "The Ice Queen", "When the Daytime is swallowed by the tongue of twilight", "Poem for the day that chills your bones", "The Weathers of my Mind". The autumn nature, colors of fall leaves, eventually snowflakes sprinkle the ground. Life circumstances recalled, a single mother wishes for a stable life, a Biblical parable is mythically retold. All the poetry throughout this outstanding volume feature ranges of creativity, individuality, and unique talent.Included are original paintings, drawings/illustrations, and photography that add so much additional color to this collection. I love the striking book cover art.Ms. Sturgill M.Ed. supports the therapeutic arts and is an advocate for the mentally ill.
