Its a short and simple read which makes it easy to absorb the information.

All strategies are well described and it is easy to practice. But the most surprising piece of this book is the chapter of the introduction of the baby's habits. A bright idea which will help all mothers concentrate on learning their baby's behavior.

One big one that I took from this is to not look into baby’s eyes as they are going to sleep because it will force them to concentrate on you instead of sleeping. I don’t have a kid yet, but I babysat a friend’s baby for a few hours and it let me know how much work it is! So, this book helps me to educate myself on better strategies because getting her to sleep was to most difficult part. I will be having a child in the near future, so I am happy for preparing myself early. This book won’t be the one-stop book you need, but serves as a great start.
