When I first started reading this book I was thinking poetic and puzzling. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A Courageous Story of Self-Actualization By C Dixon When I first started reading the book, I wasn't quite sure where the story was taking me. I read on, and I am glad that I did. This book dives deeply into parental relationships and how they affect the way that we see ourselves. It also questions what we consider to be normal--how our body image affects not only how we perceive ourselves, but how others (including family) perceive (and receive) us. I found this book quite interesting, and I enjoyed the introspective look at real love.

Beautifully Written By C M This story engaged me from the very beginning as a beautiful writing style is used, with deep description allowing you to connect further with the story. The three characters in the book are all very intriguing with a lot of depth. It is a very original story which does a good job of highlighting the problems of family acceptance and what it feels like to be different. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great and original short story to read.
