By Outdoors Girl Marilyn has put together some very practical tips for older adults or for those helping to care for them.What I like about the book is having the chapters divided by various conditions so that you can focus where you are having a problem.It's also an excellent guide to read completely to give you an overview of the various conditions, ways to spot them and to treat early to avoid being hospitalized.

The author is knowledgeable and uses simple jargon free language to help seniors and their non-professional care givers understand how to stay healthy, care for common issues such as wounds and diabetes, and know when to consult a professional. It's an easy read, and should be on the shelf in every home.
