By Sharon Suffolk I never understood what it was like to have Asperger Syndrome and what you have to endure each day. This book has more than enlightened me on the subject. It showed me how much pain someone has to go through to just get through their day. How it affects the entire family and the world around them. I was more than impressed with how the author shared her innermost feelings about herself and her family in this book.This book is one that everyone should read, young and old. It's very well written. Very informative. Very inspiring.

Pacelli This author writes with such vulnerable, clear honesty and insight as she tells about her life growing up with Asperger syndrome. Interestingly enough, she didn't even know she had it until she was 39 years old. She explains so clearly what it feels like to struggle with things that are easily done every day by others, like social conversations. Even though I have a young adult son with autism, I learned a lot about how someone on the spectrum sees the world. She sheds light onto the differences between male and female "aspies" and how and why they are often missed in diagnosis, which I found fascinating. An important book for female autism awareness.
