This book is for anyone going through difficult family situations such as a separation or divorce while raising children. About the Author Raymond D. Wormack BS/LCSW, Founder and CEO of Wormack Inc. a Non-profit organization, Author, Social Worker, Father, son, and brother. Raymond has been in the helping profession for seventeen years, obtaining his license in Social Work in June 2004 and has upgrade to LCSW. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the California University of Pennsylvania in May 1999, where he double majored in Accounting and Finance. He assists individuals as a financial adviser for the last fourteen years as well. Raymond received a Master of Social Work from California University of Pennsylvania in May 2004. Throughout his seventeen years in the field, he has worked in a variety of settings in multiple roles. Some of the positions he held included: Supervisor and Counselor in a Residential Treatment Facility; Supervisor and counselor in a Drug and Alcohol facility; Multi Systemic Therapist; Caseworker at a Partial Hospitalization Program for children; Individual and Family Therapist at Residential Treatment Facilities: Lead Family Therapist providing in home therapy; Outpatient Therapist for both children and adults; and writing psychological evaluations; active member in the development of SRRTP Act 21 a state program. Raymond also served as a trainer at Adelphoi Village and Torrance State Hospital, for Strengths Based Mental Health Diagnosis, Treatment and The Impact of Grief, Loss and Trauma, Safe Crisis Management, Victimization, Working with victims and predators of Sexual assault, among many more to list. His background and life experiences shaped the type of Social Worker he is today. He primarily utilizes various therapy models, CBT, RT, Experiential, are just a few of Raymond's therapy models. He can incorporate models into individual, family, or/and group therapy sessions. Raymond has a special interest in working with victims of sexual abuse, as well as predators. He continues to practice Social Work in the VA Pittsburgh Health Care System. He also has knowledge of the impact that a seperation, mental health diagnosis, as well other factors can have upon the individual, families, and communities.

1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. SINGLE PARENTS READ THIS BOOK!!! By Janice Williams Every single parent should read this book. It explains the challenges and successes of parenting. This book encapsulates the responsibility a parent encounters in maintaining a wholesome environment for their child while developing a healthy parent-child relationship. To do so requires dedication and a constant willingness for adjustment and growth of both parent and child. If you need some ideas for entertaining your child, many were exampled in this book and were both creative and imaginative. Wish this book could be provided for parenting counseling groups. Easy to read! Well written! Wonderful!

It spoke of life with children and parents going through divorce and separation. Making sure the children we're place first. Very good book, would recommend it to all. Happy reading.
