Cole, M.D. In Ms. Dawson's book, she eloquently points out that "God inspired the Song of Solomon to teach us how to pick the right marriage partner for a lifetime of glorious merriment in the arms of our beloved." For those already married, happily or not, studying the ancient musical play by King Solomon can change you into a better lover for your spouse. In our misguided, sex-saturated society, most people are perpetually confused about wholesome sexuality and cannot describe a healthy male-female relationship. I highly recommend this book by Patsy Rae Dawson for all who wish to know what God means for us to understand about dating and marriage. Her new book provides an in-depth study of this marvelous biblical literature, so often overlooked, misunderstood, and mistaught. As the author has concluded, I, too, am convinced that the only approach to the Song of Solomon that makes any sense is to read it as a true story about a love triangle in which a virgin maiden struggles to choose between two very different potential mates. The rich king can offer a lifetime of luxury with rare sensuous contact. The other man, a humble shepherd, can provide a lifetime of meaningful intimate contact and engaging relations within a context of God-created sexual expression and true love. As a married women with two young children and a full time job, I thought that I understood The Song of Solomon. However Patsy made things more clear and gave me a deeper understanding of The Song of Solomon when related to engaged or married couples! Awesome job Patsy! I would defiantly recommend this book to everyone.

It gave me a deeper understanding of relationships. Rather you are single, engaged, or married, this book is a must read. Enjoyed it so much I couldn't put it down. I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review and my honest review is that this book is awesome. Great job Patsy! Can't wait for your next one.
