4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. annoying spelling errors and font type for listing code By Gunnar Pedersen I am now more than half way through the book - and it gives me an ok introduction to the android programming framework.But I have been a little annoyed by spelling errors (missing characters in two-character words like in, is, to), the use of bullet lists when listing source code (why not use a more normal font like courier for listing code), and the lack of figures in the book (in stead of exlaining how an icon looks like by text).You find tutorials on the web that are easier to follow than this book - e.g. http://developer.android.com/training/basics/firstapp/index.html

The book is very poorly written and Oz Swift should return to school and pay better attention in a remedial English class. Might want to look into an outside proof reader, not a close relative or the computer. Other than that, I have no opinions.
