By raven This book is very well written and the writer did a great job explaining the history of African-Americans without the same story we've heard before. This gives a look into the mindset that slaves had and have passed down from generation to generation. One doesn't realize the trauma of being a part of genocide, once we have looked into the ream of what has transpired we can fix it and eventually become a better society. I hope to see this book on Oprah, Iyanla Vanzant or New York's best seller.
