This is a beautifully written book that promotes peace By Mieko This is a beautifully written book that promotes peace, has wonderful artwork and should be in every school and library. It teaches rather than preaches that our fears can be overcome with imagination and some practical ideas. As the story unfolds it's characters are immersed in nature which reflects and guides them through negative emotions that soon transform into positive ones. Following the story the author suggests simple and effective exercises to achieve a sense of peace free of fear and anger.

It is a story that is for all age levels. I bought the book for myself but then realized it needed to get out in to the world and gave it away.....now I see how peace IS possible!! Once you have the book in your hands, you will feel it too! This is on the gift list for all ages!!

The concept of peace is so important for children to learn, and this book nails it. The exercises and the back of the book was a great touch. My niece and I practiced them, she really enjoyed this part of the book. I highly recommend this book. It was a joy to read.
