However By Kerth Barker This book is filled with insights and ideas that you won't find elsewhere. Anyone who cares about birthing practices and early child care would find information in this book that is useful. However, if you are easily offended, you should know that the author was NOT being careful to avoid controversy. If controversy makes a book unreadable to you, you might have issues with this one. The negative reviews about this book seem to be written by persons who care more about political correctness than discovering new ideas. However, for me, good reading is an adventure in which one looks for new insights not explored elsewhere. And judging this book by that standard, it is a good one.

By Johnathan Macedo If you're not aware of what's going on all across America (and the world) at this time and who the players are behind it all, then you're in for a very shocking, rude and even depressing awakening. Even more so if you have encountered or experienced the kind of tragic ordeals that many of the people in this book have shared of their own.For years, I've witnessed the inferior treatment of women by the medical industry (Mammograms, really? Did a man think that barbaric device up for starters?) as well as it's oppressive and perverted procedures often administered. Sadly, they take advantage of so many who are uneducated, naïve or simply brainwashed by the old way of thinking that, "Cops, Priests and Doctors are honorable members of the community you can trust!"Sorry folks, but we live in both a corporatocracy as well as a technocracy which doesn't have those who run it with your best interests at heart.My ex and I had a child back in 2003 and what Jeanice goes on to describe in this book brought back vivid memories of that bittersweet day.I witnessed what was suppose to be a beautiful, shared birth that I was totally involved with and which quickly turned into a fearful, painful experience where:- My ex was given Pitocin and then Cervidil (which is made from pig's semen btw, look it up) to expedite the birth (her female delivery doctor was going to a dinner party later that evening, on a Sunday, and told us as much that we weren't due for another 6 days).- Where I left for a mere hour to go get clothes and flowers for my wife, being told that I had plenty of time as she was only at 4cm, only to be given a call that there was now, "fetal distress due to painful and rapid contractions which were causing the heart rate of our unborn child to lose it's heart beat monitor and fear of oxygen deprivation or other complications and so, she needed to be rushed into a C-section". I raced back to the hospital.- I was the first one to hold my child after he was born and even now, we continue to have a stronger bond as a result. I later found out that my ex was yelled at by the anesthesiologist when he couldn't get the epidural in and blamed her for "not staying still enough". I also found out she lost quite a bit of blood at that time as well. Sadly, she was drugged up and didn't really enjoy our son until many hours later.- The delivering doctor also made a very odd remark in that it looked like my ex had been in the hospital before, having had surgery, and why it wasn't noted on her records. I told her that that was impossible as this was her first time in a hospital. She then said, "Well, she's missing a fallopian tube and ovary and it looks like it was surgically removed?" Were they covering their own tracks and possible removal of this from her with a botched C-section? We'll never know as my ex never wanted to do any follow up on this matter.- Lastly, against my wishes, my ex (and her mother) decided that our son should be circumcised. I told her that nature designed men this way and it wasn't like an appendix. I told her that I wanted to wait until he was older so he could decide on this as it was his body. Nope, some time within 48 hours, he was circumcised. How and what was administered is unknown. Reading this book and I am so angry at what was probably done. Pain trauma and fear upon being brought into the world. A wonderful way to make a break in the psyche for a child to bond with the parents who borne them and that they are suppose to protect them thereafter.This all being said, I have educated many people (sadly, mostly women even) about what is being done to them on a regular basis in so many ways (beyond just the medical industry) but not nearly as many or as concise and as powerfully as Jeanice has done. In fact, I first heard her speak on an internet talk radio interview and when I did, I was totally amazed and reached out to ask her for a digital copy of that interview, since listening to it several times since and sharing it with others.And I now promise everyone reading this... I am going to be involving myself in this issue in a VERY big way, helping to help others to become educated and empowered with knowledge and comprehension of what's going on. My future children (with my new wife) will be natural born, a private affair, not corporate citizens (meaning no social security number attached at birth and which is not required until of working age as they take the mother's until then, look it up), no vaccination schedules (as my son thankfully is not, she became educated on that) no mutilation (read circumcision if a boy) and no formulas full of corn syrup solids (my wife is so excited to do a natural delivery tub birth and breast feed).You see, I was blessed at this time in my life, with someone who is equally educated (and even more than me in some ways) by a woman who knows her body, does acupuncture for a living, has been vegetarian/vegan/holistic for years, uses a diva cup (yeah, a very green girl) and one who loves me like no other. Note that we are spiritually joined and this also upsets the powers that be as they can't have control over us in terms of the corporate merger of her name to my own (think about all the places you've seen your name in CAPITAL LETTERS and then why it is that way? Birth certificate, Social Security, Driver's License, every contract you've ever signed, your tax forms each year... are you getting the picture yet? It's about taking civil matters (marriage) and being able to turn them into criminal ones (with monetary penalties, like in divorce or family court).I could go on and on, but there you have it... This book was definitely written for someone like myself, someone who can both read and comprehend (two different skills) and I must add, Jeanice's book is written in such a way that the format serves both those in the know, as well as the lay person who have been indoctrinated to a propagandized truth their entire lives.Thank you again Jeanice! :)

This author has the courage to say what should have been said years ago. As an R,N,, Medical Intuitive, and Director of a non-profit Healing and Educational Ministry, I am encouraging the young mothers with whom I work as well as nurses in training to read every word of this book. The issue of circumcision must be addressed by the population with the question; why has this practice been imposed upon us, by whom, and for what reason? Ms. Barcelo addresses this question in depth. This book includes a video of an actual circumcision, which I shared with an expectant mother recently, who chose not to circumcise her son as a result. The trauma of birth, as we practice it today, seriously impacts the mental and physical well being of our society as a whole. Ms. Barcelo wisely proposes an end to birth trauma, and the beginning of welcoming in new life with loving respect.I would hope that one day this work would become required reading for anyone entering the medical field.
