I took a flyer on the first book in the series because I'm a big Disney Parks fan, even though I haven't been to Disneyland yet (2016 hopefully). I wasn't sure what to expect because I figured it would be kid/teen lit, but I really enjoyed it so I bought the second book and then the third. The third was a great way to close the series and although I figured out some of the details along the way, I really really enjoyed how Matt closed the series. All three books helped me lose 14 pounds in the past month because I didn't want to get off the elliptical until I finished the next chapter, then the next, then the next... they were that entertaining. I can't wait to get to DL and actually see some of the places described in the book up close for the first time.

I was able to finish it about 6 days. The loved the first two books, but personally the third one might be my favorite. After two books where else could Matt take these characters I asked myself. After reading this book I was definitely surprised still at the ending. I loved how the ending of all three of these books. These riddles have all be great and I have found myself trying to figure them out before dizzy and the gang, but I have to say I was stumped most of the time. Matt, the author, has written some great adventure books. I hope he continues to release books even if not focused on dizzy or Disneyland. I look forward to more releases in the future.

A Fitting and Enjoyable Final Installment of the Disneyland Quest Trilogy By Trout26 SPOILER ALERT: I am assuming that you have read the first two books in the series. If you have not, then do so as you will not really appreciate this book without the character development that occurs in those two volumes.Dizzy, Lance, Anna, Megan, and Justin are all back on what could be considered the ultimate quest. Many of the supporting characters from the first two books are back as well, somewhat changed (or maybe not) from the previous books. And of course there are new "villans" trying to thwart the quest. The "set-up" for this quest is a bit longer than in the previous two, and perhaps just a few too many coincedences are involved, but once the "quest proper" is underway, it is every bit as engaging as the first two books. The "kids" (except Anna) are all 18 or 19 years old now, and the "danger" factors in this book increase relative to their age. Although not in terms of language, sex, or any other such things (these are the most unbelievably "wholesome" late teens that you could meet anywhere), many of the themes and situations are darker than in the previous books. There are some fun plot twists, a deciet, and a lot of not knowing who are the "good guys" and who are the "bad guys". For an adult reader, some of these are fairly obvious well before the characters figure things out, but some really did catch me by surprise. If you enjoyed the first two books, then you will certainly enjoy this one as well.

By Jerry Saperstein Microsoft Access (and Apple’s FileMaker Pro) are two programs I always buy one or more third-party references for. Usually more than one. The reason for this is simple: these are enormously powerful programs and are understandably complex and difficult to master. I’ve been using Access since its Day One and I don’t consider myself a “master” and never will. I don’t use it every day, so when I do I need a convenient, deep resource. And the Access Bible is generally one of the best. Yes, you can find every bit of information between its covers on the web. But think of the time you’ll save by being able to look it up in a pretty well done table of contents or index. Before purchasing this book, use the “Look Inside” feature on Amazon. Closely review the Table Of Contents and Index. Then carefully read the parts of the first two chapters that are included. If you have trouble understanding them, you want a different book, one specifically targeted at newcomers to Access. Access 2016 Bible is clearly written and profusely illustrated, though many of the illustrations are difficult to understand. One day the publishers will wake up and understand that illustrations need to be legible. But with more than a thousand pages to deal with, they face a problem. It would be nice if the publishers optimized the layout for electronic versions. This book is heavy. In any event, if you are beyond the absolute novice level, this contends for must-have status.Jerry

By Long-Suffering Technology Consumer When I was new to productivity software (and the Office suite in particular), I didn't totally get the difference between a spreadsheet (Excel) and a database (Access). In fact, they looked so similar, that I defaulted to Excel because the interface seemed much simpler.However, the first time Excel failed to preserve the relationships between carefully constructed columns of data, it became crystal clear to me why it was time to acquire some Access and databasing skills...because pain is a great teacher.I am now a high novice/low journeyman user of Access. I use it to preserve personal contact lists, online account records and a few other tasks that I learned the hard way are best preserved in a database and not in a spreadsheet. I am comfortable enough creating forms, running reports, creating queries and importing/exporting data to/from external sources. These skills are functional if not elegant.The Access 2016 is going to help anybody interested in advancing their Access skills, and will do so from the ground up. The book patiently steps through the basics (database elements, tables, rows, records and relationships between them all). It is nicely illustrated and well indexed.I expect it to move my own Access skills out of basic survival mode and into areas of more sophistication. If you are a user seeking to elevate your Access skills and can only put one book on shelf to do it: this is a great candidate for that book.Select with confidence.

It takes the reader through the basics of Access 2016 all the way up to Advanced programming techniques. The book is geared toward the beginning through advanced user. A lot of material is covered and this is probably the best book on the market now that Microsoft no longer seems to be publishing its Inside Out series of books on Access. The material is presented in a logical manner and is well written.Highly Recommended

9 of 11 people found the following review helpful. Up In The Air By Conrad J. Obregon Every year I attend a big photography exposition. Last year there was just one drone exhibitor. This year there were more than a half dozen. Drone photography seems to be here.Eric Cheng is a drone apostle, having spread the word of the uses and advantages of drone photography, including as a representative of the largest ready-to-fly drone manufacturer, DJI. His book covers all aspects of drone photography, although for a few demonstrations, there are references to on-line videos. The book includes chapters on equipment, learning to fly, aerial stills photography, aerial videography, real world stories (which is a portfolio of still drone photographs), and flight, policy and travel (which discusses the status of rules applicable to drone flight as well as how to travel with a drone). This is the most comprehensive book on drone photography I’ve seen.Before going on, I have to confess that I had been opposed to the use of the word “drone” to describe these aircraft, preferring “unmanned aerial vehicle” because of the negative connotations associated with the word. Now, given the rapidly growing positive uses of these platforms, even though there is also an undercurrent of fear and distrust in the public, “drone” seems unavoidable.The book uses DJI’s Phantom 3 Professional for many examples. This is not an unreasonable choice, given how DJI’s drone dominates the market. The book also deals only with ready-to-fly drones and not the hobbyist’s assembled drones.The chapter on learning to fly is really just a familiarization, given the number of drone options available. In my case after experimenting with an inexpensive toy drone, I had to resort to the manufacturer’s publications and videos as well as many on-line resources before I felt competent.(Perhaps not so competent; in speeches Cheng warns that drones are vulnerable. The toy drone that I lost in a tall pine tree and the two Phantoms that drowned might challenge that competence.)With regard to both still photography and videography, Cheng emphasizes that it is useful to think of a drone as a three dimensional device to put one’s camera into a position to capture images. He discusses the limitations and capabilities of drones, but to fully utilize a drone, one will have to go beyond the discussion in this book. For example, although the author discusses the HDR capability of the Phantom 3, one ought to understand both how to shoot and process HDR photographs.Cheng’s discussion of the regulatory environment is important to drone pilots, to insure they are not breaking the law or public expectations. He acknowledges that this is a rapidly changing situation and urges monitoring this environment.A while ago I reviewed this book’s companion Learn-by-Video and complained that it did very little educating. This book is far superior. By Rob Carswell The best book about using drones for aerial imaging…aka taking pictures from the sky! Eric Cheng is both a techno-wizard and creative artist, turns out he writes well too. This book is good news for DJI Phantom and Inspire owners. Even though Eric goes to great lengths to display even-handedness to other drone manufacturers (Parrot, 3DR, Yuneec), most of us are DJI customers and Eric gives very specific advice and examples as if the audience is using a DJI product. Note: You are still going to need to read the User Manual for your drone as well as visit the FAA’s Know Before You Fly website, but once you do, this book will get you started making dope YouTube videos and perhaps a flyover clip of a property for a real estate listing. Don’t accept money for your videos though, at least in the US. For that, as Eric details in his section on current regulation, you’ll need to ask the FAA for special permission. Like I said, best book in the space.

By Good Amazon Customer If you want to go almost instantly from 0-60 in terms of aerial photography (and video) knowledge, this may be the book for you. Mr. Cheng is perhaps the most experienced drone photog on the planet today and has been involved closely with the improvements in the machines and techniques. In this book he freely shares everything he had learned in the process.This book is not an introduction to drones (it covers more advanced camera models though) so the budding aerial photographer would do well to read up on the very basics of how these machines work before tackling this book. Lots of information can be found at various web sites (and even some other book) on the subject of drones for beginners.I have the printed version which is great due to the large number of one and two page example photographs. These are probably visible on the ebook if you have a color device (ipad, etc.), but won't show up in their full glory on a plain Kindle (B&W).pic is my book and my machine - ready for action!

I've seen training videos and followed along but this book was the home run. Not only did I learn about all the moving parts in a logical manner, I also enjoyed the nuggets of what a experiences DSC IT pro is thinking as he goes through the process of learning DSC.The author was very keen on making sure that he was aware of the tripping points that a new comer would have in taking up DSC and pointed out all of the potential stumbling blocks along the way.

I write to survive. Poetry has always been therapy for me. My mother instilled a love for reading in me at an early age. Books became a welcome distraction from the agony of adolescence. Even as a child, I was aware that I was different from the other kids at school. I was picked on. I was “too fat, too ugly, and too nerdy”. I had the “wrong clothes, wrong shoes, and wrong hair”. Needless to say, I was desperate for an escape. Books provided me with that escape. Motivated by my love of music, I began writing songs. However, it became obvious that singing was not my forte. To my family’s dismay, I was oblivious to this. After enduring several of my after-dinner performances, my mother suggested I write poems, instead of songs. She pointed out that poetry was to be spoken or read and no singing was required. That moment changed my life. A writer was born. It is for that reason that every word I write is in honor of my mother. I believe that my poetry has saved my life on many occasions. I’ve been on the edge so many times, yet I always manage to write my way back. I was broken. The words put me back together.

By Beauty After having read Hewson's writing a novel with Scrivener' and getting to the point of 'compile' , which didn't go as I'd have expected, I needed some more help than Hewson's book contained.FONTS TOO BIG, LINKS ALL OVER THE PLACE, JUST TOO UGLY TO PUBLISH.That's where Wick's advice came into its own. Glad I got the book, I'll probably use it only a few more times as the information contained in it is easy to remember and settings can be saved but to get me to this point fast, this book was invaluable.Well worth its cost.

Useful but incomplete - at least for me By wezel I must admit that working with Scrivener is much harder than I thought it would be so I was hoping that this would make compiling things easy. Unfortunately, while helpful, I still needed to read Scrivener for Dummies and a huge amount of trial and error to try and compile something that might be presentable enough to publish and after twenty-some-odd hours and am still not there yet. However, I can't complain too much. It was less than three bucks and did get me started.

A competent book on the construction of an Amazon book listing By Amazon Customer This book did a reasonable job of covering all the basic steps of constructing an Amazon book listing. If you follow the steps in this book, you will have a pretty good book listing, I think.As usual with this author, there are a number of grammatical errors, I think because English might not be his primary language. But of course you can still get his meaning despite the errors.I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about how to create a decent book listing for their Amazon books.

But when I picked up this beautiful book I couldn't put it down. It's full of detailed and helpful advice, although what I enjoyed the most were the author's many personal stories. This is not just another pregnancy book. The author clearly isn't afraid to push the envelope when necessary in order to give the best and most helpful advice for achieving a truly healthy pregnancy - even when that good advice is also unconventional. The information in this book is interesting, helpful, and detailed, with charts and pretty pictures to go along with it all. The author's writing style makes the whole thing fun and easy to read. I loved this book and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

She then maneuvered my body until Buddy and I felt a strange sensation. It felt warm and wet. I couldn’t help but whimper, and try to move away in order for me to see what was happening to my lower body, but Margaret placed her hands on my butt, and pulled it towards her. I almost screamed at the intense, confusing sensations. I started breathing heavily, part from the exhaustion of the “game”, part out of fear, and, as much as it shames me to say it, part from pleasure. As much as I hate to admit it, what felt uncomfortable and only mildly arousing with my underwear on, felt a lot more intense and pleasurable when I was shoved inside her bear trap. My mind felt disoriented, confused, and disgusted at the wet feeling below my waist. Buddy (name of my private part) was having a hell of a time, the bastard, standing at salute and happily diving into The Viper’s crevice. Some people refer to this phenomenon as their bodies betraying them. I just think of it as Buddy simply being true to his nature, by being a total dick. What happens when a young child is molested by a much older and stronger person? Now what happens if that person is your own family? She wasn’t being kind, of course. She just wanted to muffle my scream. As her crevice sucked Buddy in harder than ever and her lower body finally stopped pulverizing my hips, she rested her upper body on mine, and bit hard at my shoulder, while at the same time keeping the pillow in place. That’s when I screamed. I screamed, and nobody but her listened to it. I think she realized this, and it pleased her, because she started bucking her hips again, although considerably less violently than she did before. "You feel that, little cousin? I just left my mark on you. Something to remember me by. To remind you you’re mine." - the Viper said. I guess she felt all the fond memories weren’t going to be enough. She didn’t bite me hard enough to draw blood, fortunately, which also meant her physical “reminder” wasn’t eternal. Her psychological reminder, on the other hand… Michael was molested by his cousin starting at the age of only 4! He was practically still a baby and didn’t know what to do as he was being taken advantage of. Instead of babysitting him like she was supposed to be doing, she was having his way with him, since she was much older and bigger than him, he could do nothing but obey his older cousin. Confusion riddled his mind, as that wasn’t the only thing affecting his young life. He also grew up in a gang filled community with violence everywhere he went, Not the best environment for a young boy. Oh he was also heavily abused all throughout his school years. I do not know nor have I ever met the author. This was an emotional read for me. This has also probably been one of the harder reviews I have written. The subject of this book is painful...but the message in this book needs to be heard. I grew up in a society where men and boys were usually the predators; through foster care, nursing, and as a painful part of living in an ever changing society I have learned that is not a constant truth...we must all face the reality that girls are predators too. There were some grammatical errors in the book which usually distract or take away. I found I was not as bothered by them given the message and rawness of the story. I will warn you...this is a hard read as this young man bares his heart and soul at the mental anguish of being molested at the hands of his older female cousin. His response is equally painful and I found my heart aching for him. Statistics show that 1 in 3 girls is molested and 1 in 5 boys (by the age of 10 if I remember correctly)...those are not good odds, and so as "Michael" shared his story under anonymity, I couldn't help but think about all the other "Michaels" in the world who cannot tell theirs. I pray that in writing this, the author found some healing; and I hope that in reading it many male victims will find theirs as well. And Michael, I am glad you still have a sense of humor and can smile. May innocence somehow be yours again in whatever form you can find it.

By Alex When I purchased this book I had no idea it would be such a heartfelt book, to be honest I read the first 30 pages of this book already and I just purchased it today. I could not keep my eyes off these pages, and I intend to finish every last sentence in this book. I applaud this author, he has done such a great job setting up the theme of this book which shows a message to all of his viewers. This book is an example of a step by step reason why his books are great, I can't wait till another book is published I'll be the first one to buy it!

By Abdullah Shaheen This book is really eye opening. It lets you travel into the world of this poor little boy and see the challenges that he faces growing up in bad neighborhood, a neighborhood where he isn't even safe at home. This book really sucked me in and I finished it in a couple days easily. It's a great read, although it can be a bit disturbing at times, but that comes with the subject matter of the book, and topics like this should not go undiscussed as they occur much more frequently than they should. I highly recommend it.
